MotoGP: BREAKING NEWS - Aleix Espargarò pulls out of the Assen TT

The Assen TT is already over for Aleix Espargarò. The Aprilia rider had crashed on the last lap of yesterday's Sprint race and tests had shown a simple fracture of the 5th metacarpal of his right hand. Not a serious, but enough to limit him in his riding.

This morning, the doctors examined him and gave him the green light to try to ride in the warm up. Despite the doctors' positive opinion, Aleix decided to withdraw from the GP to speed up his recovery for the Sachsenring round, scheduled for next week.

Espargarò knows very well that in his condition he could not achieve any decent results and wisely preferred to rest in order to present himself in better condition in Germany in a few days.
