MotoAmerica President and former three-time World Champion, Wayne Rainey, hit the mark with the Mission King of the Baggers series, a championship with highly modified Indian and Harley Davidson bikes.

The series will arrive in Europe this year, thanks to MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR), one of the leading promoters of motorcycle and car racing in Europe, and part of the MotorSport Vision company, which owns and operates five circuits in England, as well as owning the Circuit de Navarra in Spain, and holding the commercial rights as a promoter of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, otherwise known as BSB.

Rainey himself acknowledged the interest of the promoter, Stuart Higgs, and further interest is growing, because watching the performance that riders like Jeremy McWilliams are able to get out of the bikes is fun.

Feuling Parts recently announced, via a video on social media, that the team will field Spain’s Ruben Xaus in MotoAmerica’s Mission King of the Baggers 2024 Championship.

Xaus, now 45, has raced in the World Superbike and the MotoGP and will be racing with the Harley-Davidson team. After winning in the German round of the World Superbike Championship in 2001, Xaus became the first Spanish rider to win a World Superbike race with a Ducati.

In 2003, Xaus had his best season in the Superbike World Championship, finishing second in the title race behind his teammate, Neil Hodgson, the legendary 100, winning seven races and taking 15 podiums.

Xaus’ best season in the MotoGP was in 2004, when he ended the championship in 11th place, with a third place in Qatar. In 2006, he returned to the World Superbike Championship, where he continued to race until the 2011 season, riding for Ducati, BMW, and Honda.

We’re here, in America, and we’re ready for the King of the Baggers in 2024, with the Feuling Team on a Harley,” Xaus said in the video.

Ruben will challenge Jeremy “Jezza” McWilliams who raced in the World Championship in the 500/MotoGP class from 1993 to 2004, alternating on Yamaha, Aprilia, and the Proton KR, on the podium twice in 2000 at Mugello and Donington.

The series was won in 2023 by Hayden Gillim.
