MotoAmerica: Mission King of The Baggers in the MotoGP, Rainey:

The Mission King of The Baggers Championship, which originated in MotoAmerica and is a series run by three-time World Champion Wayne Rainey, is going to be present in the MotoGP paddock for the first time ever, after being welcomed into the BSB.

So Harley-Davidson and Indian touring bikes transformed into actual road racers will be taking to the track in Austin at the Circuit of the Americas. These bikes have been set up with racing suspensions, and more, which improve their performance.

Mission King of The Baggers is a special series in which riders like Jeremy McWilliams, who you may remember in the 250, but also in the 500 with Kenny Roberts' proton, have raced. There’s lots of excitement to be expected for the two races scheduled on Saturday, while Friday's Mission Challenge will have the top six finishers battle it out for a $5,000 prize in a sizzling three-lap confrontation.

"This is a great opportunity for MotoAmerica and our King of the Baggers series. Having our teams and riders compete at a MotoGP event is ground breaking, and I know the MotoGP fans will be surprised and excited," three-time 500 World Champion Wayne Rainey, President of MotoAmerica, and member of the MotoGP Hall of Fame, exclaimed.

The races will be broadcast live on the MotoGP YouTube channel, MotoAmerica Live+, MAVTV, and YouTube MotoAmerica.
