Hells Angels: former boss makes four corpses disappear in “pizza oven”

Merl Hefferman sentenced in the United States for obstruction of justice

Moto - News: Hells Angels: former boss makes four corpses disappear in “pizza oven”

The pizza oven”. That is what the oven where human bodies were illegally cremated was called. We are talking about the notorious gang known for its criminal activities, the Hells Angels, which used the Yost and Webb funeral home in Fresno (California) to incinerate up to four men. the Former 54-year-old Hells Angels boss, Merl Hefferman, was sentenced for arranging the illegal cremation of the body of another former Hells Angels member, Joel Silva, in 2014.

The director of the Yost and Webb funeral home, Levi Phillips, said he was threatened at gunpoint by Hefferman. to “leave the hangar door open”. Two men then brought the corpses to be cremated in the oven. In 2022, three people from the gang had already been convicted of Silva’s murder: Brian Wayne Wendt, Jonathan Nelson, and Russell Taylor Ott. Hefferman had also contacted the director to incinerate the body of Robbie Huff, who had disappeared in 2015.

The act was again repeated for another man, apparently Art Carasis, a member of the gang who had joined in 2016. The prosecution has not yet named the fourth victim. The Yost and Webb funeral home obviously did not comment on the matter. Silva’s family, instead, stated that not having a body to mourn over impacted their grieving process. Hefferman was sentenced to 48 months in prison.
