Three weeks have passed since the bad accident Danilo Petrucci had on his motocross bike. After having undergone surgery on his jaw and collarbone, the rider from Terni began his road towards recovery with the aim of returning to the track soon.
Many are waiting to see him in action again, and we can’t rule out that this could happen very soon. During our live broadcast on Friday evening with Petrux, he confirmed that, along with the Barni team, they’re assessing the possibility of a test during the CIV in Vallelunga on Thursday.
The Roman stage of the Italian round is scheduled for the last weekend of May, and Danilo could end up riding in the free practice session on Thursday with the Panigale V4-S, just like Viñales did in Misano with the Aprilia RSV-4.
So Danil could be making a comeback at Vallelunga, as he seeks all the confirmation he needs in terms of confidence, in view of the Misano Superbike test scheduled for the end of the month.
