MotoGP: OFFICIAL - Marco Bezzecchi in Aprilia with Martin from 2025

Aprilia has completed its team for the next two years. Following the announcement about Jorge Martin, which arrived after the Mugello GP, today, it's official: Marco Bezzecchi will be racing alongside the Spanish rider on the official Noale team. A multi-year contract has been signed.

Aprilia was looking for an Italian rider for the first team. This had already happened in the MotoGP with Andrea Iannone in 2019 and in 2021 with Lorenzo Savadori, who's spot was then filled by Maverick Vinales at the end of the season.

So Bezzecchi is leaving VR46, with which he trained in the premier class, to join an official team, like Marini did last year with Honda. The difference is that Marco will be getting a very competitive bike and a new adventure towards relaunch himself after an uninspiring start to 2024.

Massino Rivola, Managing Director for Aprilia Racing, played all his cards well and greeted the newcomer: "Welcome aboard to one of the best Italian talents, who has demonstrated his worth from his début in the lower categories and especially last year in the MotoGP, with outstanding performances and even breakaway victories. We can’t wait to embrace Bez in Noale. The Italian bike and Italian rider duo are extremely exciting, but even more so is the rider pair which will be formed with Jorge. We're really happy with our line up for 2025. Martín and Bezzecchi were our first choices for their age, talent, grit, and determination. With them, we'll be able to write a new and important chapter in the history of Aprilia Racing."
