MotoGP: 'Monsters' at Silverstone: Rossi, Bagnaia, Quartararo together for a track day

More than a track day, it felt like a reunion of champions - that 's what happened at Silverstone, where Monster-sponsored riders got together for a track day. For the first time, MotoGP and SBK riders as well as famous 'exes' got together to ride together.

Acting as 'godfather' was the Doctor, because Valentino Rossi certainly did not want to pass up the opportunity to ride on the English circuit again (especially on a beautiful sunny day). With him were his team riders Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio, but Pecco Bagnaia also joined the day along with Franco Morbidelli.

Yamaha riders were also on the track, so Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins, along with 'host' Cal Crutchlow, tester for the Japanese manufacturer. Jonathan Rea also did not pass up the opportunity to cross wheels with MotoGP riders. So did Andrea Locatelli and Nicolò Bulega. To top it off, Randy Mamola also put on his overalls.

It's hard to imagine what happened on the track, but we'll probably find out soon because a video of the day is being prepared.
