The Forward team was forced into a last-minute replacement before the Barcelona round. Following Alex Escrig’s fall in the Fp3 in Austria, Giovanni Cuzari's team will line up Spanish rider Yeray Ruiz.
During the Austrian GP, the young Forward team rider, Alex Escrig, suffered an injury that is keeping him away from the track for a period of time yet to be defined. Yeray Ruiz will, therefore, be the rider they'll be lining up on the starting grid alongside Alberto Surra.
Forward is pleased to welcome back Yeray, who already knows the team thanks to his previous experience as a replacement for number 17 at the Assen Grand Prix.
Ruiz is looking forward to this opportunity: “I’m very excited about the chance the team is giving me. It’s with determination and a desire to improve that I want to face the Catalan GP, riding a bike that I like and that I consider very competitive and with great potential.
