Yoshimura SERT Motul has confirmed the 2023 FIM EWC rider line-up with Gregg Black, Sylvain Guintoli and Etienne Masson.
They are all experienced riders and performance level should be high enough to regain the champion title. The new year is coming soon and whole team will prepare the 1st round at Le Mans.
“I am very excited to announce our rider line-up for 2023 - explained Yohei Kato Team Director Yoshimura SERT Motul - Our Rider Captain, Gregg Black will be in a leadership role while showing his fighting spirit. I expect Sylvain Guintoli to be the backbone of the team and he would be showing his experience and consistent performance again. To make a new trio, I am very pleased to welcome Etienne Masson back to the Suzuki team! All three riders are experienced with high skill and I expect this trio with our crews and Suzuki GSX-R1000R will bring Yoshimura SERT Motul up in the new stage. Since Suzuka 8H is going to be a unique race, we might be considering to appoint a Japanese rider for the event, but we will aim to win all three 24-hour endurance races with the trio”.
“I am very happy to continue with Yoshimura SERT Motul in 2023 season and I believe that we can battle for new historical victories as we all have good experiences! - said Gregg Black - Our primary goal is to regain the EWC title and we will be more determined after the 2022 title narrowly escaped us. I am really looking forward to the new season coming up to see again my team at the first tests in order to offer r you a season full of promises! In addition, I am very happy to be able to represent the Suzuki brand around the world for all the many fans supporting”.
