Dovizioso in motocross accident: negative CT scan, but broken collarbone

The rider from Forlì got into a bad accident while training on the Terranuova Bracciolini track this morning. Andrea was helicoptered to the Careggi Hospital in Florence. He's conscious, and the CT scan was negative, but he fractured his right clavicle.

UPDATE: 3:30 p.m. According to reports, Andrea Dovizioso is conscious, and the CT scan he underwent at the Careggi Hospital in Florence was negative. However, he did fracture his right collarbone, while the results for his wrists are still pending.

Andrea Dovizioso had a bad accident this morning while training with his motocross bike on the Arezzo track in Terranuova Bracciolini. The rider from Forlì was promptly attended to by medical personnel, since he injured his head.

118 emergency responders were on the scene, and Dovi was later helicoptered to safety to the Careggi Hospital in Florence for further tests. Apparently, the former Ducati and Yamaha rider doesn't appear to have sustained serious injuries. Andrea had already fractured his collarbone in June 2020 during the Regional Championship race in Faenza.
