New year, new helmet: Valentino Rossi unveiled the new 2024 graphics for his helmet on the Losail track. The Doctor is in Doha for the Qatar 1812 Km, the race in which he’ll debuting in the WEC. Before leaving, however, he wanted to share the new design created in collaboration with Aldo Drudi and Davide Degli Innocenti.
“We started from last year’s helmet, which turned out well. I have to admit that the first time Aldo told me he wanted to put flames on it, I wasn’t convinced. It seemed a bit tacky,” Valentino said jokingly. “Instead, it was beautiful, This is its evolution. We put the sun in front, the moon behind, and continued with the flames, which can be seen better with a darker background.”
