The surgery that Celestino Vietti underwent today for fractured left collarbone went well. The Ajo team rider sustained the injury Tuesday afternoon in the final test session at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto. After an first assessment at the circuit, he was transported to the hospital in Jerez where the fracture was confirmed. After traveling to Italy, Vietti was operated on by Professor Giuseppe Porcellini at the hospital in Sassuolo, and he'll will now begin the road to recovery.
